Education & Outreach Funds
Education Fund
Supports K-12 initiatives that foster passion and knowledge in the next generation of geoscientists, including curriculum development and teacher resources.
E.F. Reid Scouting Program
Teaches geology through Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and other youth organizations — bringing Earth science to young people in an engaging, hands-on environment.
Grants & Scholarship Funds
Grants-In-Aid Fund
Assists graduate students conducting thesis research on petroleum, energy resources, and environmental geology. Applications are evaluated annually by the Education Awards Committee.

Military Veterans Geoscience Scholarship Program

L. Austin Weeks Memorial Fund
The L. Austin Weeks Memorial Fund provides funding for programs and projects that promote the science of petroleum geology. The fund is unrestricted and used at the discretion of the Trustees.
